Company founder Aaron M. Bauer has a century’s old connection to the area with his family first settling in the region in 1902. Bauer’s love for the community is deeply rooted and heartfelt. After graduating from Indiana State University (1986) he spent 17 years with glass manufacturer SCHOTT Gemtron. By 1996 he set sights on developing his own business and earned a Graduate Gemologist (GG) degree from Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s premiere educational institute for the jewelry trade.
Today, Mr. Bauer actively contributes to the community by volunteering in local causes that improves life for everyone. The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission, United Way of Knox County and many years on the Vincennes Urban Enterprise Board are but some of his areas of service. He’s actively participated with the Board of School Trustees for the Vincennes Community School Corporation and the Vincennes Education Foundation for years, and is a proud decade’s long member of the Vincennes Rotary Club.
